Leo 170 was basilikos spatharokandidatos and kleisourarches of Seleukeia; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth or tenth century: Speck, Bleisiegel 54. Obv.: remains of cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σ[ω] - δου - λ[ω] in the corners. This man may be identical with Leo 126; if so he was promoted from spatharokandidatos to protospatharios while remaining kleisourarches of Seleukeia. See also Anonymus 548, Anonymus 550, Eustathios 41 and Theodoros 319. His office must have been held at Seleukeia in Isauria.
