Antoninos 3 was bishop of Caesena; present at the Council of Rome in April 769: Lib. Pont. 96. 17 ("Antoninus, episcopus civitate Caesinensis"). He is named thirtieth in the list of bishops from Italy. According to one manuscript, he and Ioannes 238 (bishop of Faventia) were sent to the Council as representatives of the archbishop of Ravenna, Sergios 54; see Duchesne, Lib. Pont., p. 483, n. 44 (the manuscript of Cenni adds: "missis a praedicto Sergio archiepiscopo Ravennae"). Cf. however Ioannes 237 and Valentinus 3.
