Victor 7 was a native of Nova Venetia and the son of Bellus Ausibiazus (Ausibiazos 1); he was patriarch of Grado for six years three months four days; he succeeded Venerius (Benerios 2) and was succeeded by Vitalis (Bitalios 4): Chron. Alt., p. 125 ("Victor patriarcha, qui fuit secundus nove Venecie genitus, filius autem Belli Ausibiazi; qui rexit patriarchatum ann. VI, mens. III, dies IIII"). His dates in office were perhaps c. 848 to c. 854, according to the lengths of tenure recorded in the Chronicon Altinate.
