Theophylaktos 55 was genikos kommerkiarios (jointly with Georgios 121) of the apotheke of Asia and Caria; joint owner with Georgios of a seal dateable to the fifth and sixth indictions in the reign of the emperor Constans, probably 661/662 and 662/663 rather than 646/647 and 647/648: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 735, no. 1 (facsimile). Obv.: image of the emperor Constans II (Konstans 1) with the indiction dates five and six and the legend Γεωργίου πατρικ[ίου (και)] Θεοφυλάκτου.
