Georgios 121 was a patrikios and, jointly with Theophylaktos 55, genikos kommerkiarios of the apotheke of Asia and Caria; joint owner with Theophylaktos 55 of a seal dateable to the reign of Constans II in the fifth and sixth indictions, probably 661/662 and 662/663 rather than 646/647 and 647/648: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 735, no. 1 (facsimile). Obv.: image of the emperor Constans II (Konstans 1) with the indiction dates five and six and the legend Γεωργίου πατρικ[ίου καὶ] Θεοφυλάκτου. Rev.: γενι - κον κομ - μερκιαρι - ων αποθηκ - ης Ασιας (και) - Καριας. Cf. also Georgios 9 and Theophylaktos 3.
