Theodoros 132 was metropolitan bishop of Patrai; in c. 863 he was sent by the patriarch Photios 1 with Amphilochios 1 and Pantaleon 6 to the island of Plate to purify an altar which the exiled patriarch Ignatios 1 had re-erected after it had been overthrown by Russian raiders (in 860): Nicetas, Vita Ignatii 532C (Ἀμφιλόχιόν τε Κυζίκου, καὶ Θεόδωρον τῶν Πατρῶν, μητροπολίτας).

Possibly identical with the metropolitan bishop of Patrai (Patras) who owned a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals II 34.5 = Laurent, Corpus V 1, no. 628. Obv.: invocative monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with the legend τω - σω - δου - λω. Rev.: [+] Θεοδω - [ρ]ω μητρο - [π]ολητ[η] Πα - τρων. On the date, see Nesbitt and Oikonomides, DOSeals II, p. 92. Laurent suggested identifying the owner of the seal with the agent of Photios 1 in 862/863 (see Grumel, Regestes 474) but not with the man associated later with Photios 1 (Nicetas, Vita Ignatii, 572C - the identification is made by Niketas 65; Grumel, Regestes 513) (and cf. Theodoros 174 Santabarenos; see Grumel, EO, XXXII, 1933, 439-443 and Laurent, p. 473, note).
