Sergios 106 was magistros and logothetes of the dromos; he was the addressee of two letters from the patriarch Photios (Photios 1), both written during Photios 1's first tenure as patriarch; the letters both concern remarks allegedly made by Sergios 106 about Photios 1: Photius, Ep. 10 (I 62f. Laourdas-Westerink) (written between 859 and 866, possibly between April 862 and April 866; addressed Σεργίῳ μαγίστρῳ καὶ λογοθέτῃ τοῦ δρόμου), Ep. 14 (I 65f. Laourdas-Westerink) (between April 862 and April 866; addressed Σεργίῳ μαγίστρῳ καὶ λογοθέτῃ). He was no longer in office in April 866; see Symbatios 1. Sergios 106 is possibly identical with Sergios 57; cf. also Sergios 64 and Sergios 65.
