Sergios 64 was magistros, anthypatos, patrikios, basilikos protospatharios and logothetes of the dromos; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Konstantopoulos, JIAN 6, 407 = Laurent, Corpus II, no. 422. The name and titles read: Σεργίῳ μαγίστρῳ ἀνθυπάτῳ πατρικίῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ λογοθέτῃ τοῦ δρόμου.

A number of other seals survive which probably belong to the same person, all while he was logothetes of the dromos, and which attest an accumulation of dignities (cf. Laurent, Corpus II, p. 203): 1) Zacos II 285 (found in Cyprus): obv.: patriarchal cross on base and three steps, with the legend Κ(υρι)ε βοηθει τω σω δουλ(ω); rev.: +Σεργι - ω β' α' σπαθ' - (καὶ) λογοθετ - η του δρομου (i.e. Σεργίῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ λογοθὲτῃ τοῦ δρόμου); 2) Laurent, Corpus II, no. 418: Σεργίῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ λογοθέτῃ τοῦ δρόμου; 3) Laurent, Corpus II, no. 419: Σεργίῳ ὑπάτῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ λογοθέτῃ τοῦ δρόμου; 4) Laurent, Corpus II, no. 420: Σεργίῳ πατρικίῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ λογοθέτῃ τοῦ δρόμου; 5) Laurent, Corpus II, no. 421: Σεργίῳ μαγίστρωιͅ πατρικίῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ λογοθέτῃ τοῦ δρόμου. H. Grégoire, "Etudes sur le neuvième siècle", Byz 8 (1933) pp. 515-550, at pp. 517-531, esp. p. 530f suggests that Sergios 64 was identical with Sergios Niketiates (Sergios 57). Cf. also Sergios 65.
