Philippos 10 was a priest (at Rome); on 15 November 753 he was in the retinue of pope Stephen III (II) (Stephanos 8) when the pope set out from Ticinum (Pavia) for Francia; he had presumably accompanied the pope ever since Stephanos 8 left Rome on 14 October: Lib. Pont. 94. 23 ("Leonem, Philippum, Georgium et Stephanum presbiteros"). Cf. Leo 112, Georgios 128 and Stephanos 82.
