Marinos 11 was a scribo; in 643/644 he and Thomas 26 escorted the captured rebel Maurikios 7 from Rome to Ravenna, on the orders of Donos 1; at Ficuclae, twelve miles from Ravenna, they beheaded Maurikios 7, since the exarchos Isaac (Isaakios 2) had ordered that he should not enter Ravenna alive, and delivered his head to Isaakios 2 in Ravenna: Lib. Pont. 75. 2 ("per manus Marini scriboni et Thomati cartularii").
