Gregorios 94 was dux, at Rome; in 855 he was sent by the bishop elect of Rome, Benedict III (Benediktos 7), with the secundicerius Hadrianus (Hadrianos 11), to meet the envoys of the Frankish emperor Louis II (Lodoïchos 1) (Adalbert 2 and Bernard 3) at the basilica of St Leucius (five miles from Rome); Hadrianos 11 was placed under arrest but nothing further is recorded of Gregorios 94: Lib. Pont. 106. 10.
