Goinikos 1 (Gojnik) was a son of Blastimeros 1 (ruler of the Serbs) and brother of Mountimeros 1 and Stroimeros 1; on the death of their father Blastimeros 1, the brothers divided Serbia among themselves: Const. Porph., DAI 32, 42ff. After Mountimeros 1 became sole ruler, Stroimeros 1 and Goinikos 1 were sent to Bulgaria: Const. Porph., DAI 32, 57ff. Goinikos 1 was the father of Petros (PBE II): Const. Porph., DAI 32, 61.
