Basilios 132 was a patrikios; basilios 132 was the addressee of a letter from Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) between 815 and early 819; Basilios 132 was highly praised for his piety, in particular for making his wife (Anonyma 83) and his sons and daughters (υἱούς τε καὶ θυγατέρας) greet a visiting Stoudite monk not only with bowed heads but also on bended knees; his high rank is described as his reward for virtue (αἱ κατὰ τὰς ἀξίας ὑπεροχαί σου, ἀρετῆς ἔπαθλον ὑπαρξάσαι); one of his sons, Ioannes 466, had recently died in the prime of life, and Theodoros 15 wrote him this letter of consolation: Theod. Stud., Ep. 398 (a. 815/E 819; addressed Βασιλείῳ πατρικίῳ).
