Bardas 26 was a basilikos spatharios and domestikos of the Hikanatoi; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 1757. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with [τ]ω - σω - [δ]ου - [λ]ω in the corners. The name and titles read: The seals published as Zacos and Veglery 1758, 1759 and 1761 (see Bardas 11, Bardas 27 and Bardas 28), all have similarities to Zacos and Veglery 1757, but it is not certain that their owners were one and the same person.
