Bardas 28 was a basilikos spatharios and ek prosopou of the Anatolikoi; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals III 86. 19 = Zacos and Veglery 1759. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - .. - δου - .. in the corners. Rev.: ...ρδα - ...α' και εκ - ...σ' τ' Αν. - .τολ. The name and titles read: Βάρδᾳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ ἐκ προσώπου τῶν Ἀνατολικῶν. For the ownership of similar seals, see Bardas 26.
