Bardas 27 was a basilikos spatharios and domestikos of the Noumeroi; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 1758. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Βαρδα - β' σπ' και δο - μεστικ' τ' - νουμερ'. The name and titles read: Βάρδᾳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ δομεστίκῳ τῶν Νουμέρων. For the ownership of similar seals, see Bardas 26.
