Anonymus 602 was oikonomos and synkellos of the Church of Antioch; in 860, together with the patriarchs of Jerusalem and Alexandria (see Solomon 5 and Michael 56) Anonymus 602 was the addressee of a circular letter from the patriarch Photius (Photios 1); at this time Anonymus 602 was responsible for administering the Church of Antioch, apparently in the absence of a patriarch (cf. Nikolaos 78 and Eustathios 48): Photius, Ep. 289 (III 121 Laourdas-Westerink).
