Anonymus 575 was a patrikios; he was grandfather of Soterichos 9; the early death of Soterichos in 806/807 is said by Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) to have brought grief not only to his parents (Staurakios 26 and Anonyma 68) but also to his grandfather the patrikios and his grandmother the protospatharia (λύπη ... ἐπὶ τὸν προπάτορα κύριον πατρίκιον καὶ τὴν προμήτορα κυρίαν πρωτοσπαθαρέαν Theod. Stud., Ep. 18, p. 50, lines 25-26), from a letter of condolence to Staurakios 26: Theod. Stud., Ep. 18, pp. 49-51. Anonymus 575 was evidently still alive in 806/807. The protospatharia (Anonyma 69) presumably acquired her title from her husband, and was not therefore the wife of the patrikios. The wife of the patrikios was probably therefore dead, since she is not referred to in this letter. It is impossible to determine if the patrikios was father of Staurakios 26 or of Anonyma 68.
