Anonymus 192 was a peasant and singer who performed bawdy popular songs; his talents were employed by Guberios 1, agent of the emperor Michael II (Michael 10), to persuade one of the inhabitants of Saniana (in Pontus Polemoniacus) (see Anonymus 191) to surrender the place after the rebellion of Thomas the Slav (Thomas 7) was ended: Theoph. Cont. Anonymus 192 was presumably native to the area around Saniana.
