Anonyma 96 was a tourmarchissa of Hellas to whom Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) wrote a letter of consolation on the death in battle of her son, Anonymus 678 (perhaps therefore in 823, after the end of the revolt of Thomas 7, Thomas the Slav); she was apparently already acquainted with Ignatios 22, who delivered the letter; her husband (Anonymus 677) was already dead; she was related to Anonyma 97 and her daughter, Anonyma 98: Theod. Stud., Ep. 498 (addressed τουρμαρχίσσῃ Ἕλλαδος).
