Anonymus 677 was the tourmarches of Hellas (see below); he was dead, probably before 823, in which year Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) wrote a letter of consolation to his widow, Anonyma 96, on the death of their son (Anonymus 678) in battle: Theod. Stud., Ep. 498 (addressed τουρμαρχίσσῃ Ἕλλαδος; the widow's title suggests that her husband Anonymus 677 was the tourmarches of Hellas).
