Zacharias 20 was a monk living in Thessalonike at the time when Gregory the Decapolite (Gregorios 79) was living there; Zacharias 20 had built the monastery of the martyr Menas but quarrelled with a woman (Anonyma 47) whose home was adjacent to it; he ignored the orders of Gregorios 79 and planned to have her house removed, but was promptly afflicted by an evil spirit, which Gregorios 79 expelled but only after he had promised to obey Gregorios 79's commands: Ignatius, Vita Greg. Dec. 20.
