Anonyma 47 was a woman at Thessalonike whose house was adjacent to the monastery of the martyr Menas; the builder of the monastery, Zacharias 20, was vexed that it was so close and planned to destroy it, in spite of dissuasion from Gregory the Decapolite (Gregorios 79), who pointed out that it was doing no harm; eventually Zacharias 20 was frightened into doing nothing: Ignatius, Vita Greg. Dec. 22.
