Theudelapius 1 was the son of Faroaldus (PLRE III, p. 478); he became Lombard dux of Spoletium in 601: Paul. Diac., Hist. Lang. IV 16 and see PLRE III, p. 1235. He died some time in the mid seventh century and was succeeded by Atto 1: Paul. Diac., Hist. Lang. IV 50 ("aput Spoletium quoque Theudelaupo defuncto, Atto eidem civitati ductor efficitur").
