Theophylaktos 47 was bishop of Athens; owner of a seal dateable to the sixth or seventh century: Laurent, Corpus V 1, no. 585. Obv.: Ἡ ἁγία - Τριὰς ὁ - Θ(εὸ)ς βοή - θ(ει). Rev.: + - Θεοφυλ - ακτω επ - ισκ(οπωι) Αθη - νω(ν). The date is before 693 (death of Andreas 26, the earliest name on the Parthenon list of bishops); see Laurent, op. cit., p. 438, note.
