Andreas 26 was bishop of Athens; owner of a seal dateable to the seventh century: Laurent, Corpus V 1, no. 586 = Konstantopoulos, JIAN 5, 56. Obv.: invocative monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει. Rev.: [+]Ανδρε - α επισκο(πῳ) - Αθην - ων. His name and the date of his death, 19 October 693, are engraved on one of the columns of the Parthenon: CIG IV 9350.
