Theoktistos 22 was a basilikos spatharios and strategos of Peloponnesos; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century: DOSeals II 22.38 (correcting Zacos and Veglery 2493a). Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. The name and titles read: On the possible relationship between this seal and those owned by, perhaps, Theognostos 16, see Nesbitt and Oikonomides, DOSeals II, p. 75, note to 22.37.
