Stephanos 155 was a native of Parentum and was patriarch of Grado for five years; he succeeded Maximos 4 and was succeeded by Agathon 2: Chron. Alt., p. 124 ("huic successit Stephanus patriarcha, qui fuit nacione Parentine civitatis; qui sedit in patriarchatu ann. V"). Patriarch of Grado in succession to Maximos 4: John the Deacon, Cron. Ven., p. 87. Patriarch of Grado, he died in the year AD 672 after ruling the church for five years; he was succeeded by Agatho 2: John the Deacon, Cron. Ven., p. 88.
