Stephanos 133 was nephew or cousin (ἀνεψιός) of Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite); addressee of a letter from Theodoros 15 written between 815 and 818; during the persecution under Leo V (Leo 15) he had been imprisoned by the iconoclasts: Theod. Stud., Ep. 92, p. 213 (addressed Στεφάνῳ ἀνεψιῷ). Possibly identical with Stephanos 138.
