Staurakios 28 was anthypatos, patrikios, protospatharios and basilikos sakellarios; owner of three seals dateable to the mid ninth century: Laurent, Corpus II 751 = Laurent, Orghidan 180 (reading the name as Staurakios, not Stephanos). Rev.: +Στα - ρακιω α - θυπ' πατ - κ' α' .παθ - και β' σακ - ελλαρ'. The seals are similar to those owned by Stephanos 99.
