Sergios 91 was a basilikos spatharios and topoteretes of the theophylakton basilikon Opsikion; owner of seals from the same boulloterion and dateable to the eighth or ninth century (DOSeals), possibly the second half of the eighth century (Zacos and Veglery): DOSeals III 39.49a (= Zacos and Veglery 1762, where the name was read as Bardas; cf. Bardas 22) and DOSeals III 39.49b (Zacos and Veglery 3176a), Zacos and Veglery 3176b. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Χριστὲ βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Σεργι. - β' σπαθ' και τ - ωποτ' τ - ου θ' β' Ο - ψικιου. The name and titles read: Σεργίῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ τωποτηρητῇ τοῦ θεοφυλάκτου βασιλικοῦ Ὀψικίου.
