Petros 128, Sabas 10 and Antonios 32 are described as three holy men and solitaries (τοὺς ἱεροὺς καὶ ἡσυχίους ἄνδρας) who, according to the Life of St Ioannikios (Ioannikios 2) by Petrus (Petros 126), accompanied Ioannikios 2 when, after thirteen years spent near the monastery of Agauroi, he withdrew into the quieter districts of the Thrakesion (ἐπὶ τὰ μέρη τῶν Θρᾳκησίων); the three soon grew weary there and returned, followed by Ioannikios 2 who then settled in a cell on Mt Trichalix: Petrus, Vita Ioannicii 10-11. This incident is not recorded in the Life of Ioannikios by Sabas and is difficult to reconcile with it; Petros 126 records the construction of a cell for Ioannikios 2 by Eustratios 19 and Theophylaktos 105 both before and after the stay in the Thrakesion. The three men, Petros 128, Sabas 10 and Antonios 32, were presumably monks and hermits at the monastery of the Agauroi, near Prousa in Bithynia.
