Paulos 62 was hypatos and dioiketes of the Anatolikoi; owner of a seal dateable to the late seventh century or the early eighth: DOSeals III 86.16a and b (b = Zacos and Veglery 2290). Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with Π - αυ - λ - ω in the corners. Rev.: +υπ - ατω και δ - ιοικ' τω - ν Ανατ - ολικω - ν. The name and titles read: Παύλῳ ὑπάτῳ καὶ διοικητῇ τῶν Ἀνατολικῶν.
