Nikolaos 62 was archbishop of Kaisareia; owner of a seal dateable to the early ninth century: Laurent, Corpus V 3, no. 1686. The name and title read: Νικολάῳ ἀρχιεπισκόπῳ [Και]σαρ[εία]ς. For the owner of the seal, Laurent, Corpus V 3, no. 1685, see Nikolaos 63 (citing Zacos and Veglery 2214 and DOSeals III 14.5).
He is perhaps to be identified with Nikolaos, archbishop of Kaisareia, who consecrated Nikephoros 2 as patriarch of Constantinople on 12 April 806; his colleagues at the consecration were called Leo and Thomas: Catal. Patr., p. 291, 19-21.
