Niketas 60 was kommerkiarios of Abydos; joint-owner with Philippos 8 of a seal dateable to the ninth or tenth century: Mordtmann, "Byz. Molybdoboullon" I, p. 10 (referred to by Schlumberger, Sig., p. 196, with note 2). No text or date is cited by Schlumberger, but these officials are attested from the ninth century. Cf.
