Mamas 2 was bishop of Anemourion (in Isauria); in 692 he was represented at the Quinisext Council in Constantinople by a priest of his Church, Ioannes 75, who signed the canons for him: Ohme, Bischofsliste, p. 164, no. 180 (= Mansi XI 1001) (Ἰωάννης πρεσβύτερος τῆς ἁγίας τοῦ θεοῦ ἐκκλησίας πόλεως τοῦ Ἀνεμουρίου καὶ τὸν τόπον ἀποπληρῶν Μάμαντος τοῦ ἁγιωτάτου μου ἐπισκόπου).
