Longinos 2 was bishop of Tios (Tieum) (in Honorias); he attended the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) in 680 and 681 and was present at all eighteen sessions: Riedinger II 2. 18-827 (= Mansi XI 212-677). In the list of subscriptions to the statement of the faith, which condemned monotheletism, he is styled Λογγῖνος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος Τίου: Riedinger II 2. 792, line 22 (= Mansi XI 652). In the subscriptions to the Council, he is styled Λογγῖνος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος τῆς Τιανῶν πόλεως: Riedinger II 2. 827, line 25 (= Mansi XI 677) (the old Latin version at Mansi XI 678 also calls his see "civitatis Tyanorum"). In the lists of those attending each session he is styled Λογγίνου ἐπισκόπου Τίου: Riedinger II 2. 18, line 10, 30, line 12, etc. (= Mansi XI 212, 220, etc.). In the list of those at third session his name has dropped out in the Mansi version (Mansi XI 224), although it remains in the Riedinger version (Riedinger II 2. 38, line 23) (his name follows that of Stephanos 15). The bishop of Tyana at this time was Ioustinos 2.
