Leopardina 1 was the owner of an oikos in the vicinity of Mt Olympus in Bithynia into which was taken the hermit Elias 22 when he fell ill; he was seen there by Eustratios 19; he must have been quickly removed from there because he died soon afterwards in the monastery of St Agapios, a metochion of the monastery of the Agauroi: Petrus, Vita Ioannicii 31 (οἶκόν τινος γυναικὸς Λεοπαρδίνας καλουμένης). The date was early in 821 (after the accession of Michael II, i.e. Michael 10); cf. Ioannikios 2. She is not referred to in the account of Elias 22's death in the Life of Ioannikios by Sabas 1 (Sabas, Vita Ioannicii 25).
