Kyriakos 4 was a apo hypaton and genikos logothetes of the apotheke of Sicily; owner of a seal (dateable to 696/697): DOSeals I 5.4 = Zacos and Veglery 197. Obv.: Ι(νδικτίων) ι'. [Κυριακου?] απο υ[πατων]. Rev.: (καὶ) γε[νι]κοῦ λο[γο]θέτ[ου] ἀποθήκ[ησ] Σηκελ[ί]ας. The obverse depicts an emperor identified by Zacos and Veglery as Leontios (Leontios 2), and so the indiction year was 696/697. For the identification of the owner as Kyriakos, see note in Nebitt and Oikonomides, DOSeals I, ad loc. (referring to Zacos and Veglery 195 (now = DOSeals III 24.6), a seal owned by Kyriakos 12, and to N. Oikonomides, "Silk Trade and Production in Byzantium from the Sixth to the Ninth Century: The Seals of Kommerkiarioi", in DOP 40 (1986), p. 46).
