Kriskentouros 1 was a notarius of the Church at Carthage; he was sent by the bishop of Carthage, Victor 6, together with the bishop Mellosos 3 and the deacon Redemptus 3 with a letter and greetings to pope Theodore (Theodoros 49), with the request that they be allowed to return home to their churches before the onset of winter: Conc. Lat., p. 100, lines 12-17 (cf. lines 14-15 Κρισκεντοῦρον τὸν νοτάριον τοῦ καθ' ἡμᾶς ἁγίου θρόνου) with p. 101, lines 12-16 (cf. lines 13-14 "Crisciturum notarium sanctae nostrae sedis"). The date was between 646, when Victor 6 became bishop, and 649, when the Lateran Council took place.
