Krainas 1 was the son of the zupan of Terbounia (Trebinje), Belaes 1; he married the daughter of Blastimeros 1 (ruler of the Serbs), Anonyma 102, and had a son, Phalimeres 1, by her; he was made ruler (ἄρχων) by Blastimeros 1 and given his independence in Terbounia (ποιήσας αὐτὸν αὐτεξούσιον): Const.
