Kosmas 45 was a hypatos and dioiketes of Hellas; owner of a seal dateable between the mid eighth century and the mid ninth: DOSeals II 8.7 = Zacos and Veglery 2081 = Seyrig 178. The name and titles read: Κοσμᾷ ὑπάτῳ καὶ διοικητῇ Ἑλλάδος (in Seyrig the text reads: Κ[οσ]μᾷ ὑπάτῳ καὶ [δι]οικιτῇ Ἑλλάδος). Possibly to be identified with Kosmas 18 (see Seyrig 178).
