Konstantinos 229 was protospatharios and strategos of Kephallenia; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: DOSeals II 1.10 = Zacos and Veglery 1824b. Obv.: indecipherable cruciform monogram, with .. - ς. - .. - λω in the corners. Rev.: .. - ταντιν. - σπαθαρι - στρατη - ων Κεφα - ηνων. The text of the reverse reads: Κωνσταντίνῳ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ τῶν Κεφαλήνων. Possibly identical with Konstantinos 118.
