Konstantinos 118 was protospatharios and strategos of Kephallenia; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century, possibly the second half of the eighth (see below): Schlumberger, Sig., p. 208, no. 3 (facsimile). Obv.: invocative monogram of Κύριε βοήθει with the legend τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. The name and titles read: Seibt dated this seal to the second half of the eighth century, while Zacos and Veglery compared it with Zacos and Veglery 1824a and b which they date between mid eighth and mid ninth; see Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, p. 103. Probably identical with Konstantinos protospatharios and strategos of Kephallenia, owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: DOSeals II 1.9 = Zacos and Veglery 1824a. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. The text on the reverse reads: Possibly identical with Konstantinos 229.
