Konstantinos 156 was basilikos spatharios and asekretis; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Laurent, Corpus II, no. 47 (the name and title read: Κωνσταντίνῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ ἀσηκρῆτις).

Two similar seals possibly belong to the same person: Laurent, Corpus II, no. 46 (the name and title read: Κωνσταντίνῳ ἀσηκρῆτις) and Corpus II, no. 48 = Konstantopoulos, JIAN 9, 302a (the name and title read: Κωνσταντίνῳ ἀσηκρῆτις). Laurent identified this person with Konstantinos spatharios (addressee of a letter from Photius, in J. N. Balettas, Φωτίου τοῦ σοφωτάτου καὶ ἁγιωτάτου πατριάρχου Κωνσταντινουπόλεως Ἐπιστολαί (London, 1864), p. 381) (cf. Konstantinos 262, Konstantinos 264 and Konstantinos 266) and Konstantinos asekretis the correspondent of Ignatios of Nikaia (Konstantinos 295).
