Konstantinos 137 was defensor (ecclesiastical); he was sent with the decisions of the Council of Rome (in c. 732) against iconoclasm to Constantinople ("per Constantinum defensorem"); the documents were seized and he was held in close custody for nearly a whole year (possibly in Sicily, by Sergios 49); he was then threatened and sent home in an insulting manner without the documents: Lib. Pont. 92. 4.
