Iordanes 3 was bishop of Signia (in Campania); he was present at the Council of Rome in 769: Lib. Pont. 96. 17 ("Iordanis, episcopus civitate Signias"). He is named thirteenth in the list of bishops from Italy. Later Iordanes 3 and Andreas 31 (of Praeneste) were sent by pope Stephen IV (III) (Stephanos 84) with a message to Christophoros 26 and Sergios 53: Lib. Pont. 96. 30 ("Iordanem episcopum Signias").
