Ioannes 534 was kommerkiarios of the apotheke of Constantinople; owner of seals dated to the sixth indiction in the reign of the emperor Justinian II (i.e. 692/693): Zacos and Veglery 182a-c. The name and title read: Ἰωάννου ... κομμερκιαρίου ἀποθήκης Κωνσταντινουπόλεως. The gap between name and title may have contained a dignity. See also Georgios 8.
