Ioannes 62 was bishop of Nea Ioustinianopolis (in Bithynia; cf. Theodoros 27); in 692 he attended the Quinisext Council in Constantinople, where he signed the canons: Ohme, Bischofsliste, p. 145, no. 7 (= Mansi XI 989) (Ἰωάννης ἀνάξιος ἐπίσκοπος τῆς Νέας Ἰουστινιανουπόλεως). He was perhaps bishop of the Cypriots recently settled in the vicinity of Kyzikos; see Quinisext Council, Canon 39. Possibly he was identical with Ioannes 336.
