Gregorios 148 was a hegoumenos of the monastery of St John the Baptist at Betararouos in the land of the Albanians; on 20 August of indiction 11 (i.e. 20 August 668) he handed over to Theodore Spoudaios (Theodoros 343) and Theodosios of Gangra (Theodosios 75) as they left Lazike a letter and other writings of Anastasios Apokrisiarios (Anastasios 66) together with the device used by Anastasios 66 to write after his hands had been cut off: Theod.
